My First Video

#1 Post by cd13 » Wed Apr 29, 2020 11:25 pm

Hi Guys. This is my first video. It was taken directly from my iPhone and an eyepiece adapter.... I don't even know what it is lol. It's from some old water on a vase on my yard, anybody has an idea of what it is?
I was so excited that I just loaded the video, no editing, no music, nothing.
Please give me your feedback on what I can do better and what video editing software and what effect to use. I used a Chinese microscope and a 40x PLAN Achro objective.

Thanks in advance

A nice start. This is a colpodid ciliate (the best known of which are Colpoda, but now there are some other very similar members of the family, depending on the taxonomy you follow). They're very typical of samples with soil or vegetation that dry out from time to time, being adapted to form protective cysts before they divide.

Nicely done CD13. I'm getting my best photos from my Galaxy Note 10 phone.
