Meteorite from my collection. This was found on 1941 in western Australia at Mount Egerton. Its is a Achondrite ' Aubrite ' They only make up 8% of the meteor's found. They are a stony iron with intergrown enstatite nuggets. The black steaks are Iron- Nickel inclusions. Also these meteorite have the shortest cosmic ray exposure compared to other meteorite. Most believe these came from a Class 4 Asteroid. The reddish color is not it natural color 'they are from the red clay staining it over millions of years . Also these are non magnetic' since they are made of mostly silicates if I remember correct. Image at 20x. Stack of 15 images at 7 focus points using Helicon Focus Thanks
