To be honest, I'm tiring of the limited range of microbes I can find around here. Photography of plants is much more varied and challenging.

Yes very beautiful and interesting object. But one object does not exclude the other, all can be Interesting under a microscope :D

Don,

A to the paucity of microbes and things to look at I offer some suggestions.

Yogurt.

If haven't done so yet, take a drop of live yogurt and dilute it.

When I did this I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of moving bacteria.

It brings home that we are 1 trillion human cells but 10 trillion prokaryotes live on and in us. We are never alone.

I can see bacteria very well in the water. I can see algae too. It's the variety of life that bothers me. I continue to look and make cultures. I think I saw something interesting today.
