If you go to your Photobucket library page click on the photo, it will enlarge. Then to the right you will see an area that has a few different link formats. Click on the one next to the IMG, it will highlight and say "copied". Now come back here and paste the copied link. The photo will appear instead of the link text.

Thanks Eddie... I was just getting ready for the time when we were supposed to be out of picture storage room on this forum... It looks like it was a false alarm for the time being...

Hi Eddie,

For some mysterious reason, Photobucket has started showing me a page similar to the one you see... Weird... I am about to give up on it in frustration... It is WAY TOO MUCH trouble for me to get a 13 second video to upload and then play it... It seems to upload but, when I attempt to play it, Chrome just closes the tab...

Sorry you are having so much trouble with Photobucket. I see you have switched to Vimeo to post your video, that seems to work fine.

I don't understand why it is so difficult for me... I will still use it for photos if need be... I never cared too much for Vimeo.. It seems to take a long time to load videos... For my old system anyway...

I don`t see either one Bill. What I do see when I click on your link is a nice looking dinosaur skeleton. What should we see?

OK I got it, video works fine. Off topic but I don`t have any sound on this computer for anything, computer says sound device can not be found. So I don`t know if sound card is missing or defective.

Hi Rodney,
Here is a quick and easy way to find out for sure about a sound card..

Click on start
click on run
type in dxdiag
click ok
click on the sound tab to see info
click on exit when finished

This will tell you all you need to know..

There is no sound there... I don't do any kind of narrative... It is visual data only...

I ran all the test many times for the sound board. Mainly asking any computer expert if the computer has one but defective, or do I need to purchase one and if so which one and where does it go. This computer has never had sound, the last computer did but lightning killed it.

I just got back from the computer doctor. The sound is gone because of the sound chip circuit in the mother board is bad. I can have a sound card installed for 100 bucks or ditch this old XP and go after a more modern computer like he said I really need to do. Anyway I can still use this one for a while longer with the stuff I do.
