I was wondering if anyone is using software for their Panasonic GH3 or GH9 that is similar to Canon's EOS Utility? I downloaded an app called Panasonic Image app and installed it on my old Samsung tablet and it seems to work but the image is displayed in portrait mode instead of landscape. I can't seem to figure out why. I haven't tried it on my G9, so maybe it's not 100% compatible with the GH3. Anyway, is anyone using something that they like?

Re: Panasonic GH3/G9 image acquisition
This app hasn't been updated for many years, to be honest, I quickly deleted it.
It can quickly deplete the camera battery
If you want to use stacking, it is recommended to use a shutter line.
Actually, I prefer to use the 4K video function, which can maintain photo accuracy every frame.

Re: Panasonic GH3/G9 image acquisition
I've done image stacking for nearly 20 years now using Canon's EOS Utility with excellent results. I realize it's an old app but pretty close to Canon's EOS Utility. I use the Panasonic DMW-AC10 AC adapter so battery drain isn't an issue. I did a couple of test shots with the app, and it seems to work for my needs "for now", although I'd like to find something else, especially for Linux O/S.woyjwjl wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 2:06 amThis app hasn't been updated for many years, to be honest, I quickly deleted it.
