The 2X adapters available from AmScope and OMAX, paired with a 40x objective provides more magnification than I want for some specimens.
Is anyone aware of a 0.3X or 0.5x adapter that will work with a Nikon D90 in my 23.2mm trinocular?
I've had good luck with my iPhone and a LabCam adapter, but I really like the Helicon Remote software that drives the WeMicro Micromate focus stepper and the camera.
PTGui, of course, does a great job of creating mosaics, so I have that as a solution, but it adds steps to the workflow that I wouldn't have to take if the camera adapter was less powerful.
Does anyone know if a low power adapter exists?
Reducer or lower magnify. alternative for AmScope 2X Nikon adapter?

Coverage would likely prove to be an issue here--the image circle the objective produces is only so big. Any particular reason not to pick up a lower power objective instead?
