Compatibility of photo tubes / photo eyepieces by different manufacturers?

I'd like to add a photo-tube and photo-eyepiece to my AmScope T490-B Trinocular, however AmScope does not produce these themselves. Has anyone had any success using another brand's photo-tube and eyepieces with a different brand microscope?

As far as connectors go I have the one imaged below. I'm not sure what that 48mm connection is called, but I figure I'd need one of those. I'm happy to buy new or used but can't seem to figure out what photo tube would fit. The top end would need to connect to a T mount (I'm using a canon M50) - Any suggestions would be appreciated.
