"Assassin Bug"
"Assassin Bug"
Located some footage of several garden inhabitants. At this point, I was using a Tomlov DM15 digital microscope (the one that captured my imagination!).

Hello! I wonder if this is the wrong link?
Re: "Assassin Bug"

Re: "Assassin Bug"
The magnification numbers in internet digital microscope promotions are really overestimated. The actual potential magnifications are up to about 30X or so. I don't think digital microscope users often view through optical microscopes. I have several digital scopes and I love them but I use them for summary views of large subjects like insects or introductions to a more detailed view of leaves, etc..

Beautifully shot … and very well-observed.

@einman - I enjoyed that microscope, but 1) wow, was it shaky and 2) I needed MORE MORE MORE! But those garden bugs sure do cooperate when they're not spooked by us humans butting in!
@DonSchaeffer - At first, I thought those numbers were real, but even when I realized they were exaggerated, I was still happy with that tiny digital wonder. For larger things, like mosquito larvae, bugs, weird things attached to the back of leaves, it did the trick!
@MichaelG - It's funny how I had the video and photo stored in a file on my external drive, and when it was all brought together, it was like watching a drama! I really had fun making that video!
Thanks everyone for watching my little movie!
