A crushed shell of an amoeba, you mean . Excellent images, nearly as superb as your earlier intact one. One can clearly see the building "stones" it used to make its (now abandoned) house.

looking at both images again I do not see any additional details on the 1.6x so I suspect that it is mostly empty magnification at 0.65 NA
