Pensacola Darkfield Grayscale

#1 Post by rnabholz » Sat Oct 15, 2016 8:26 pm

More from Pensacola, this time in Darkfield, captured under green filtration and converted to grayscale

AO10 Ortho Illuminator, 100 Plan Achro Iris Oil, Canon 70D

The first two are stacks - 8 frames each. The rest are single frames

Hi Rod, not my area I know - but what superb images. Your technique with the B & W is working extremely well to my eyes my friend. You have gleaned a lot of information from these tiny beauties - very nicely done indeed.

Keep up the good work Rod, superb detail and an interesting set. :D :D :)

Thank you John, you are very kind.

I am pleased with the green filtered/darkfield/grayscale process. I think it presents the sharpest images my Achros will produce and the simplicity of the finished image puts the attention on the structure, which is where it belongs ;^)

Thanks again

Rod

Thank you zz

That first one is a new one to me. Never seen it before. Very unusual structure.
