Do you absolutely love your Canon DSLR? For a less than price of this Varimag adapter you could buy a new Olympus mirrorless camera (Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II), with vibration-free fully electronic shutter, that could be attached to a C-mount with a simple no-lens $10 adapter.

Kit - Do you have personal experience with this camera. I've been looking around for good camera to use on my Olympus BH-2. Thanks for any input.

I use this camera for all my microscopy photos for several months now. It works very good for me, but I'm considering newer (and much more expensive) Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II because of greater resolution and High Res Shot mode (not sure how useful this mode will be for microscopy, though).

Thanks for the feedback Kit, I don't think I'm going to give up my 6D in a hurry ;)

I've decided to go for the VariMag adapter - will give some feedback here once I've tried it.

Why don't you go the classic route with the olympus adapters? And C-mount, will that be wide enough for the 6D EOS mount without vignetting? I have the 6D connected to the Olympus OM adapter L.

Ouch!
No mention in the blurb but it must surely sing and dance, right?

Take a look at B&H photo catalog for summer 2017, out of New York USA, about 330 pages, phone number is 800-947-7785.
