Phase contrast lens with darkfield?

Hi,

It's my first post! :)
I bought a olympus BX40 with

Plan 100x/1.25 Ph3 oil

On the condenser i have a wheel with:

Can i use do Darffield imaging? It's not working well.. Or a need a normal lens??

Aha, I think for DF you need the top-lens of the condenser swung out (i.e. out of the light-path) and to use the x4, x10 objectives..... Keep the field-iris fully-open also.
