Looks like hundreds of hours of fun to me. Congratulations.

Ebay, Garage Sale, Goodwill? What's the story?

Reading the description says one hinge on the lid, and one tray will need repair, but I guess that’s why I could afford it.
I will certainly enjoy viewing and photographing the slides.
I can fill in the blanks with some antique and vintage slides I’ve already collected.

Hmmmm...... tasty-looking set you have there my friend....

Looks like a great selection and some very nice trays and box too!

Look forward to a few images of the slides if you get a chance.

*that* is exquisite! Makes me happy to look at it in the macro - can't even fathom the hours of enjoyment they'll bring under the scopes! THANKS for sharing that haul!

Beautiful and indeed a hands on acquisition for display as eye-candy..just reading the labels would be a treat! Any idea of locale the maker(s) was based at? Are there a variety of ages for this collection? Are there themes in the subjects mounted? I guess I'd better leave the pestering enthusiasm I have for your acquisition here, and say congrats!
