Yahoo Group : Wild Microscopes

#1 Post by MichaelG. » Sun Sep 16, 2018 8:49 am

https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Wild_M20/info

I tried to start a new 'conversation' this morning, but the thread has not appeared.
... I now notice that there has been no discussion since February.

Grateful for any informed advice ... Is the group now dormant ?

MichaelG.

P.S. I purchased a nice little Wild M11 yesterday, but the 'canister' is missing.

I hope to contrive a functional approximation, so photographs and/or relevant dimensions of the fittings would be much appreciated.

Have not been there myself for a while. Confirm Feb 25 ... Ask your question, might be that people need a reason to post.

Canister seems to be a rarity ... pity.

This is from the catalogue in case you have not seen it.

Thanks for that ^^^

For clarity:
I had already submitted the question to the Yahoo group, but it did not appear.
... Hence my concern

Update 17-Sep-2018: My question to the Yahoo group is visible ... so all appears to be well.

I seem to remember that Yahoo Groups transitioned a while back to some sort of Google platform. It was supposed to be transparent to the user, but maybe something went amiss?

If you are a new member, they sometimes hold your first until they review it to keep spam off the board. But sometimes it is just really slow to get posted. I do see your question has appeared now. Jay Stanley is the main moderator over there. He is also on the Facebook Wild group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1085462534873992/

Perhaps you can get the seller to accept a reasonable price for it - he does say make offers

Thanks for the thought, but even if the price was zero I couldn't justify the postage charge of £75.44
