Mediterranean Copepod

#1 Post by 75RR » Sun Sep 16, 2018 7:07 pm

Plan 16x/0.35, DIC, 540µm (body length), 5 stacks (12± images) stitched in Photoshop
Pinned with cover slip. Cleaned up the background
No luck with an ID even though it has a distinctive shape

Crazy Good 75!

Great depth, super color, sharp as a tack and that crazy ruby eye.

Not exactly an easy subject either, especially for an extended shoot.

Well done sir.

Indeed! Advantage of pinning to hold it still.
