Hi Miguel,
great image! The fly head looks silvery - can you confirm that from what you see in the single images?

What type of microscope do you use? I'm not sure I have ever seen it.

The identification of the microscope says "Gamma 01982 Hungary" I could not know more than the one that was manufactured by MOM (Magyar Optical Mechanical) and is a typical clone of Zeiis Jena. The camera is a Panasonic Lumix FZ35 fixed optic compacts (FZ 38)

If the body and the head are silver with small black spots. I do not know what kind of fly it is, only that it is very small approx. 4mm

Hi Miguel,
thank you for the information on your microscope, I hope you didn't mind me being so nosy.
I used to have a russian Lomo Biolam in ligh green beige that was a perfect copy of the Zeiss Jena LG and of similar quality too.
Your microscope has a different foot, column and knob diameters, so not a simple copy. The gearbox also seems to be deeper, mor like a Zeiss Jena LuWdE.

I have never heard from this company but google has and there is a tiny bit of information to be found on it.
It looks similar to a Zeiss Jena LG, but only quite.
Is the fine focus the big knob or the small knob back at the column?

Hello
Thanks for your comments I could not find much information about the microscope despite having consulted in several places ... I even tried to locate a microscopy site in Hungary but nothing.
Fine focus adjustment is the smallest button.
Greetings and sorry for my English ...
