Besides being very pretty, the fascinating aspect of your image is that it looks as though the animal may still be extant in it. I really don't know a lot about foram biology/morphology (please excuse me, I'm largely uneducated), except that they're more or less similar to testate amoebae. It's really a very interesting thing to follow "Google trails" on.

Plan 40x/0.65, DIC, 145µm, 15 image stack in Photoshop
This one was taken a week ago. Including it now because it seems to show some internals.
Found on alga washed up on the beach so assuming it is one of the planktonic foraminifers.
