#1 Post by ivangallego24 » Thu Nov 15, 2018 11:45 am

Well these are my two microscopes one composite and one stereoptic, I would like to know your opinion about them or if someone has them too, they are from the euromex brand.

Hi Ivan,

these are nice looking microscopes. I used to have a similar stereo microscope which gave a good image. I sold it because it had 20x as the smallest magnification which was not ideal for me.
Do you already have ideas what to observe with them?

Hello
I noticed you are into myrmecology! We have that in common. Any specific family? Do you maintain colonies?

Welcome to the Forum,

At least some the Euromex line is the same as MeijiTechno. I know this is true for the stereomicroscopes; I don't know about the compound microscopes. I just received a thick Euromex catalogue at work, and I'm looking forward to perusing the pages.

I've been using a MeijiTechno stereomicroscope for 25 years. I've been happy with it, and it is holding up very well. I like that the objective lens has a standard camera thread pitch, so that it's easy to add photographic filters or accessories in front of the lens.
