Hello from sunny and warm Florida.

New user coming in sideways from a Salt Water tank hobby. Found some You Tube videos of the life that exists on the reefs that we can't see. Jumped in and purchased an AmScope M150C-PS25 microscope with a MP35 digital camera.

Been trying to find "life" in my Freshwater tank with algae and from a local ditch without much luck so far. But I'm reading and trying to learn how to improve finding what I'm looking for. Then trying to figure out what I am seeing. :?

Don.
Welcome to the forum and to microscopy.
There's life in there, no doubt, and I am sure you find it.
Send pictures of your set up and what you are seeing, and the folks of the forum should be able to give you plenty of help.

Are there image upload restrictions? I tried to upload an image from this evening but was not able to (probably more user error on my part). I've done some searching and can't find any direct yes/no regarding new member posting images.

Welcome! Where in Florida? I'm in the Gainesville area.

I don't know if there is a restriction on new members uploading images but there is definitely a limit on image size. On both the dimensions and the file size. There should have been an error message at the top of the page when attempting to upload the image.

I think these restrictions are still applicable: There is a limit to 5 pictures per post, each picture can not be larger than 512KB and can not be larger than 1024x1024
Zeiss Standard WL (somewhat fashion challenged) & Wild M8
Olympus E-P2 (Micro Four Thirds Camera)
