I want to present my PZO "frankenstein" Biolar made as a polarising microscope

What in this microscope is unusall?
Tri Head comes from lomo, and mounting need to by change.
Condenser comes Aplantic Achormatic Tyoda 1,4 lomo/zeiss size. This is fixed with additional ring (PZO is 2 wider).
Upper analizator is made from PZO stereoscopic Head.
PZO UPO 2 circular stage is allso unusual equipment.

I think I have the Lomo microscope your trino came from - my one was exchanged for a Zeiss Jena trino and the stand painted black.
Are your objectives parfocal with this setup?
Your stronger objectives wil probably give a better image with correcting eyepieces. The Zeiss Jena GF are non-correcting. They are very nice for stereo microscopes with RMS exepiece tube diameter.

Looks good. As long as all the optics work well together to provide good images that is the important thing.

PZO was on good way to by the top producer. I want to have petrological mictroscope so I built it. This class of optic solution is 10 times more expensive than mine was. Even the second hand petrology microscope with no condernser are 2-3 more expensive. If somebody want to use my path i have a part that may by use as upper analizator. Cicrular stage is not a problem on auctions.

My head it from this model https://kg.all.biz/en/polarizing-micros ... -g237855BY "short" RMS model. The objectives works well. I have oryginal PZO SK x10 eyepieces but GF seems the same, so as they are wider I prefere them. This head have no lens inside in photo mode.

What next.. First to be done is the light. I will try to impement 10W LED. Next propably the hardest is to change objectives to CF\CFN class.

That is a fine looking stand you picture here...Microscope lighting has passed the point of being a problem.. There are so many ways to configure LED lighting, that there is no excuse for not having adequate lighting...
