I was looking on a leaf and this picture came up. I think it's an egg.

I'm using a celestron microscope with 4, 10, 40, 100 times magnification. Eye pieces are 10 and 20.

Re: Found something cool
Nice image, it's a seed my friend, very likely of a plant in the compositae/asteracae.
Looks a lot like a Sonchus species, but there are many possibilities, dandelion for example. Have you more images of it?
I just posted to ask you if you could post to the firum as I am not, and never intend to be, a member of Facebook. As I was typing, this image was added when you corrected the post title!
Interesting to see your explorations, keep them coming!
The 'hairy bits' are collectively called the 'pappus' - the 'parachute' of a Dandelion is such a collection of these hairs.

Re: Found something cool
Hi Chadak, the last image isn't enough for an ID, but that doesn't matter one-jot my friend.
It really does take a while to get to know the ins-and-outs of posting to the forum with images, videos and links!
You're progressing well I can see - and your images are nice and clear.
I don't know if it's any help but I (and definitely others here!) have had all the same troubles old chap, you'll soon settle into a workflow that suits you.
Myself on a Windows-10 laptop,
I have a folder-structure such as, I also set my camera to include the date and an image serial number as the file name of images taken.
This works well, just an example....
Oh, also, Windows Photo - the desktop image viewer that comes with Windows 10, has the ability to simply resize images. Open an image with the usual double-click, bringing-up the Photo app with your image displayed. Select the three dots in the top RH corner to bring down a menu, select resize and then simply select custom, then set the max width to 1000 pix to match the forum's requirements, the height will automatically change to keep the image H/W ration the same...
Here's a screen-snip of it in action,
Easy and free!

Re: Found something cool
Thanks again.
My images are taken with my phone and I don't as of yet have a computer to store them in just Google drive. Though I wonder if there are any apps for Android that allow you to put date and time print on the image
