Leitz bertrand lens options

#1 Post by jb89 » Sun Sep 08, 2019 5:49 am

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a bertrand lens for my SM-LUX-POL and I am seeing 3 possible options but wanted to see if anyone else knew more about them

1) Leitz monocular head with bertrand lens
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Leitz-Microsco ... SwT3tdFjgH
Cheapest option, may be inconvenient to have to swap heads and I wouldn't be able to take pictures of interference figures when I get my trinocular head.

2) Leitz intermediate adapter bertrand lens
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Leitz-Microsco ... SwjqVZH1K3
Seems to be the most appropriate option

3) Leitz magnification changer and bertrand lens
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ernst-Leitz-We ... SwK6ZdTa4W
This is originally for an ergolux which is an infinity system and I have no idea whether or not it would work appropriately on my microscope.

Bonus: 4) The documentation/user manual mentions an eyepiece for interference figures but I cannot find one for sale or a picture of one.
I feel like this part will be hard to come by and also would not allow for pictures of the interference figure
