Axiomat Aperture Slide

So this is what's inside an Axiomat Aperture Slide.

Just thought the mechanics were interesting. A teeter-totter lever opens and closes the iris.

Ah, the Aperturblendenschieber! (It's sounds much more scientific if it's in German.)
I've never taken mine apart, so it's interesting to see what's inside.
Due to the Box-like shape of the Axiomat, the control knob has to be so far from the light path.
