Nice selection, second one particularly is a great catch and image!

Stunning photos ImperatorRex! DIC and diatoms go together so well-I’ve noticed when making compost I get way more diatoms if I add high silica plant material such as horsetail or Shea oak (Australian native). I find the “gliders” very amusing to watch...
