Whole Mount Insect Slide Preparation

#1 Post by AntoniScott » Sun Mar 22, 2020 2:14 pm

Since my interest in microscopy is mostly with insect morphology, I have worked to try and come up with a good method to prepare whole insects for slide preparation. I recently created a 10 minute video (part 1 of 2), the second part to follow shortly. I hope it may be of interest to my fellow microscopists.

Thank you AntoniScott. Very interesting video. Really good to see these things done rather than just reading a description which, no matter how detailed, can never capture the nuances. Looking forward to part 2!

Useful video! Thanks. That was one beautiful spider slide in the beginning.

Looking forward to part 2.
