The shape reminds me of a strawberry just not red. Difficult to capture as they move very fast. This one ~30um's. Not a great image but best of the bunch.

Re: Halteria
Good capture. I can't as yet get a sharp image even with the slow ones.
Thanks for giving the camera details.

Re: Halteria
You are so right. I thought Cyclidiums were tough to capture but these little guys have a multi blade propeller and never stop. Finally it came up to the stuff and slowed down so I cranked up the ISO and shutter speed.
Took a bit of post processing to reduce the noise. Thanks for the comment.

Re: Halteria
Nothing to complain about other than the very difficult subject. The image of the Halteria itself looks to me very sharp, with excellent 3D texture. Your camera can take excellent HD video, if I'm not mistaken (and maybe you did) but I don't remember seeing you post videos (which would be, I think, easier with things that move; at least I think so). Having said that, I'm not suggesting that your image is other than excellent.
Re: Halteria
Well, not excellent but at least worth posting. Thanks-especially from the "Master".
