for my needles i use marker flags rip the flag off cut to length, cut some dowel for a handle, drill a small hole and sharpen to a point works great and cheep to make

They form spores and cysts when a water body dries up, and get reconstituted when conditions improve (i.e., they get immersed in water). Soil holds the cysts etc., so they are all around us. Birds, wind, and insects can transport them between bodies of water, also. I like this makes me almost satis...

Add several drops of stain to tap water (not distilled or deionized). If they turn bluish-purple immediately, it is satisfactory. However, if they change slowly, stays reddish or brownish, then the stain should be discarded.

does Hematoxylin have a shelf life?
I have 3QT of this stain was wondering as its a lot a lifetime for me how long will it last?
Harris Hematoxylin
contains
hematoxlyin 0.5% w/v
alum 7% w/v
Reagent alcohol,5% v/v
mercuric oxide, 0.3%

Ok I have a question that has been on my mind for a some time now. I may have asked this question on here in the past but I cant find it, so here goes. If you make a hay culture. water grass and leave it in the dark for a week or so you'll end up with paramiciums,and lots of other one celled organis...
