Re: retroDiode upgrade question
i’ve used both the regular 10w and the upgrade to 20w (which has a fan) on a bunch of Zeiss Standards & Universals for 100x cross-polarized darkfield photography, and had good results

Looking for a Zeiss Standard Intermediate Tube
Hi,
I'm building up a Zeiss WL, and need an intermediate tube for a Standard to mount the analyser. If anybody's got a spare, or knows where I can get one, let me know!
Thanks,
Richard

Re: More Photomic iii questions- power supply/light
Hi,
With a PM3, unless you're using the film camera, there's no real reason to use the big Zeiss box to power the scope (and thereby the lamp). Just get a used Zeiss power supply, or a generic 12V eBay lab power supply and plug the lamp in directly.
Cheers
