OLDER CAMERA LENSES DIDN'T SPIN WHEN FOCUSED SO LINEAR POL WORKED FINE....NEWER LENSES, THE FRONT WOULD SPIN AND CHANGE THE POL EFFECT OF A LINEAR FILTER..

ON A ZEISS I MADE UP THE THE GRANDKIDS I USED SKATE WHEEL SPACERS UNDER THE STAGE TO RAISE IT 10MM

I figured the light would vary depending on the alignment of the pol, just thought moving the slide through the beams it would change..wonder f turning the slide would change it..hmmmm.. next time i'll try
