Live view through the stereo microscope is good for everyone. Found this little lady crawling across my shop floor and she agreed to a few quick pics with my cell phone. New to me. Too much used lab equipment out there to go new new.

So I'm about $12,000 into my astrophotography hobby and now I'm considering a new Olympus microscope. I might need an interdiction at this point. Tapeworm eggs at what I believe is 1000x. Focus stacked in CS6.

When I picked up my microscope the guy I bought it from gave me a few commercial slides. This one was marked "Daphne sp". Any idea what it is? It's my first attempt at focus stacking.

I definitely won't be viewing any insects. At least with this microscope. Not really sure how deep I want to go into this particular rabbit hole yet. Even though I was looking at some $1500 objectives .
