jackieone, Always great to get the "real view" vs the almost pen drawn look one will mostly get. I have to adjust the condenser to be off center and raise the stage etc... to get that real flesh type of look. Cool music also. I think this website explains it as oblique- I myself discovered it by jus...

Don,
God doesn't have to make every single thing have pretty shapes to please you who are so small in your mind.
Appreciate all the pretty "shapes" you see and pretty colors etc. heck of a lot better than I could ever come up with!

I like all the ambient music in videos.
I always thought it helps people get through them better.
It can take some time off say a 2 minute or more video and make it more bearable.

Re: What is a tumor?

I think you are trying too much to compare or link humans to being like plants.

Much different.
You can't cut a person's arm off and stick it in the ground and grow another person. Stuff like that there.

Burls can be made into salad bowls by wood workers- What Is a Tree Burl? A burl is a bulbous, rounded tree growth usually found on tree trunks and sometimes on branches. Burls form as the result of stress that its tree has undergone. Spalting is decorative in wood worked guitars or furniture- Spalti...

Re: What is a tumor?

Don, I did a quick web search. You could look further- Cancer is a disease in which some of the body's cells grow uncontrollably and spread to other parts of the body. Like animal cells, plant cells mutate, but does that mean that they can develop cancer? In fact plants may not get cancer as we thin...

Re: My first attempt at using my camera

MicroPunter,

That is what I did when I first bought a AmScope.
I used the USB camera to take a photo of every slide in the AmScope slides.
I even bought some old Sears slides off Ebay and did the same thing.
Having pre-made slides is a good start.
