the spiral may be something else though. its big, way bigger than strep etc. im waiting for my calibration slide to arrive and a camera adaptor. phone camera just can't pick up the amazing colour and depth of phase contrast. i have some froggies, giant snails and spoder to swab and look at. my snake...

coccidia is the first one. i fought them when i kept a herd of goats. they can be fatal in many species, fortunately easy to kill if caught before major symptoms
