Re: LED lighting....why the hate?

I switched toLED On my BH2 BHTU.I think the photos are better. I sold a microscope to someone in histology, and they wanted halogen, because specific features showed up better with halogen. Just depends on what your doing.

Re: My Micro Neighborhood in Sickness and Health

Looks like peritrichs and Rotifers. Might try adding a few drops of milk or hay infusion. Might help more ciliates to divide.

Re: How to disable auto brightness adjustments- Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II

I had trouble with my 5D mark ii being able to control lighting using the EOS Utility. It cleared up when using live display mode on EOS. Now I’m happy with lighting and brightness.

It doesn’t have the three prominent cirri posterior. Could be the changes it’s going through.
I have a video of frontonia dividing. I’m trying to find a video of conjugation.

EOS Utility and Mac

I have a Canon D5 mark ii. It’s attached to my Mac and I’m using EOS Utility 2. The problem is that the camera always compensates for the changes In light I make on the microscope. It limits some illumination techniques. Does any one kno2 how to keep this from happening. When I turn up the light on ...

I have a tank with algae in it. I find this filose amoeba group to be rather confusing. It also looks like nuclearia, a creature that lives in a foggy area between animals and fungi. Fascinating
