Re: Amscope MU1000 camera

I get decent photos with this camera and lousy videos. The frame rate is 28 max. A better camera it the MU 1000HS, with a frame rate of 38. I think it may be the lowest high speed camera Amscope offers. Greg It was very low image quality. Impossible to get anything in focus and not as good as my ph...

Re: Amscope MU1000 camera

Thank you for the advice and comments. I decided to try it and will hopefully post some pics. I have spent ages trying to find a good camera set up. My Nikon D7500 gets hot when left on the viewfinder mode which I am not keen on as photography is my main hobby. I will probably try to get another ada...

Amscope MU1000 camera

Anyone using this camera for getting sharp high quality images? Do you know what the highest resolution is and do you have any examples?

White lily style - what is this?

This is taken from the style of a white lily. I would love to know what they are called. My new favourite thing. They look fab in the microscope.

Re: Swift 380T + which eyepiece camera

Hello all, As the title suggests I have a Swift 380T microscope coming which I want to fit a half decent eyepiece camera to. Mostly for video and recording/reviewing but on a 2560x1080 screen resolution (ultra wide), so 30fps @ 1080P in a decent size I'm hoping is possible so myself and/or someone ...

Amazing colors indeed. It must look great through the eyepiece.
Thanks, it does, it's hard to capture but great to see. I used an old pair of 3d cinema glasses we had in the car. The lenses just popped out and they work.

Trying some citric acid polerising

I bought citric acid last year to make cheese. It was in the cupboard and I was going to throw it out last week. Thankfully I held on to it. I made some slides following the info on Oliver's video on Vitamin C polerisation. It has been beautiful to see. Here are a few low res pics taken on my phone....

Question about Nikon camera adapter / lens

Hi, I am wondering if anyone has tried this TMount with 2x lens with a Nikon and compound microscope. I have the Nikon D7500 and Swift SW350T. I saw the video with a similar one from Oliver but think this is slightly different. I have read so much and looked at so many, I am not sure what is best. I...

Re: Sunflower stems

Hi,

I did stain myself and left it in too long but liked the effect. My pics were taken on my phone and too high a resolution to upload to the forum so I took a screenshot to upload instead. Thanks for the info on how to change size.

Hi from bonnie Scotland

Hi, I love photography and came across some plant cell photos which led me to watching lots of videos from Oliver the MicrobeHunter. I had a big birthday a few weeks ago and got a Swift SW350T microscope. I am just learning how to use it. I have a T mount and 0.5 lens coming today for my Nikon D7500...
