Tried it out and could see how it would work. I would need to find the right size tube so I could hold the two lenses the right distance apart and in place.
Still if anyone has a CT I'm still considering buying one as a option.

WTB/ barrow 30mm Centering telescope lens
So I was super fortunate and acquired a Zeiss AxioSkop-20 with phase contrast that fit my tiny, much depleted student budget. The kindness of strangers seems to know no bounds! I would like to insure my phase annuli are properly aligned and need a 30mm CT. I am in Santa Cruz California. If anyone wa...

Re: Can anyone identify this condenser?
Looks much like a Zeiss phase contrast condenser to me, Ben - though those usually have the Zeiss name. Perhaps a copy. Most likely the dovetail won't fit Olympus - but it could conceivably be modified to hold in place. In addition the phase annulli most likely won't line up with Olympus phase cont...

Re: Can anyone identify this condenser?
So I checked our hypothesis by googling " Zeiss phase contrast condenser" and found a very similar looking unit on ebay- Zeiss 0.9 DIC Phase Contrast Dark Field Condenser Microscope Ph1 Ph2 Ph3 https://www.ebay.com/itm/324286342033 looks very similar.

Re: Can anyone identify this condenser?
The uncoated section with the knurled edge opens and closes the condenser iris, and at full stop it rotates to the next filter option. No markings on the flat section of the dove tail. It seems like so far the hypothesis are that it is: A phase contrast filter type device, and of European origins. I...

Can anyone identify this condenser?
Hi I am new to microscopes, this "condenser" was given to me along with an lower cost Amscope compound micros scope, it doesn't appear to fit the Amscope in anyway I could figure out. It appears to be a multi purpose condenser with dark field filters. No brand name on it but is solidly built. Any he...
