These little critters were huddled and vibrating around a dead microscopic crustacean. This is at approximately 3000x at the highest zoom in the video. Bacteria of some sort?

Fantastic. Thank you!

Re: iPhone 13 pro max adapter
That’s my assessment as well. I’m using my iPhone XR with the upgraded labcam ultra adapter, which has better optics and a 20X eye piece magnification. Best choice I ever made, and the cool thing is that you don’t have to zoom in on the camera to get a full rectangle or frame. also, both the iPhone ...

Also, I assume this is the endpoint or at least getting close to the detachment stage of binary fission vs conjugation. I’m basing this based on the symmetrical look of t...

Brachysira or Navicula? Diatom ID
Brachysira or Navicula? Or neither. Diatom identification seems to be a whole separate skill set unto itself. Gets me almost every time.

Dark Field Disk Sets for Motic Phase Contrast Slider
Anyone aware of a third party that manufacture a set of dark field stoppers that will insert into the open center hole of the Motic Phase Contrast slider? This would be the slider below, designed for the BA or Panthera C2 series. https://www.motic-microscope.com/p-1807-ba210-310-phase-slider-3-posit...

Any idea what this might be? I’ve seen them multiple times in my pond water samples. Magnification 400-800x.

Re: iPhone 13 pro max adapter
Sadly, LabCam has stated they do not plan on making an adaptor for the iPhone 13 Pro max, only for the 13 Pro. I had to use my older iPhone XR.
