Diatom?
This is from a pond sample. There were a lot of diatoms in it. I think this is one too? But, I cannot identify what type?

Water Sample Disposal
What is the correct way to dispose of pond water samples after I finish with them. I usually keep them a few days, view them, and then throw the water out. Should I just dispose of it in the sink. Or, should I discard it outside. I am not talking about samples heavy with bacteria -- just typical pon...

I have more trouble trying to identify things like this:

I looked up some videos and compared with my other photos. You are correct that is what it is. Thanks. I am really impressed you could id it from such a photo. You are good.

I found several of these were in a pond sample. Long, slithery. They also clumped together.
