I spent over a hour searching on the Web with no luck..apparently amateur microscopy is not a popular subject.

I should mention that mirror part that was included has a typical concave mirror and a translucent (flat?) reflector. The translucent reflector is tarnished (delamination?)..any suggestions as to what to replace the surface with?

On a B&L SZ7 the accessory lenses use a different mounting system than the other scopes of the SZ series. Has anyone offered an adapter that allows more commonly available accessory lenses to be used on this scope? Also are any adapters that allow a LED light ring to be attached to the SZ7? Finally ...

Does anyone know who built the Micromaster line of scopes? And what were the differences between the Micromaster I and Micromaster II? It would seem that VWR had a similar line of scopes called Vista Vision. Both seemed to be originally from Japan and then production was moved to China. Were these s...

Interesting..I think there were different versions of the Micromaster..may be with different features. I have always found it interesting when a company switches production from one country to another country for cheaper labor costs. The change may or may not include physical changes to the product ...

No Kohler? I thought the scopes I saw did have Kohler.

Objectives I have seen have been the plan Chinese objectives common at the time 2000-2010?.

Could someone discuss the subject of the Fisher Scientific Micromaster series of scopes?

From what I have seen, they seem to be a line of stencil scopes from about 10-15 years ago.

Gerry, It looks pretty straightforward and of decent construction. I'm not sure a Chinglish manual will add much to your understanding.
