Hi. Do you have any of the phase telescopes still available for sale please? If so how much?

Yes I've been trying on BF but am unable to focus and centre the image of the field diaphragm. Maybe the condenser itself needs an overhaul. The centering screws are very tight.

Thank you apochronaut. I've left it out again without issue.....so far.
Now I'm struggling to set up Kohler with the 402a phase condenser. This too may need an overhaul. I'll check out the site for info on doing this.

Are you talking about individual consciousness or some mystical universal consciousness. The former being at the forefront of research in neuroscience, whereas the latter is in the domain of the philosopher?

Further to the post citing Thilo Himmel, I've been in touch with them and just today received an email saying that they only trade within EU because of costs. So my hunt for a 402a Leitz condenser goes on.

Thanks Tony but I have now got a x25 phase objective. I'm not sure what the import costs are but from what I hear it's not cheap.
Am I right in saying that you have a 420a condenser too?

This is the thing I don't understand....I thought that one of the key components for DIC was a second prism between the objectives and the analyser. Unless each objective has this prism within it?

Is there another Wollaston prism between the interference objectives and the analyser on this microscope?

Can this condenser be used for phase contrast only without needing to change anything else on the microscope apart from the objectives. On a Google search it seams to be capable of DIC as well but this needs additional parts. Thanks

Hi. I read recently about the improvement one gets when using an oil objective, in terms of image quality.
Can you use oil with a x40 objective that doesn't have ' oil written on it?
