Re: Leitz NPL Fluotar L 25/0.35 160/0.6-1.6
If, as I suspect, the adapter thread is 28mm … this would suggest that someone has been experimenting with using that objective afocally. 28mm is, of course, the convenient thread-size that Leitz used for the eye-cup attachment on some Periplans … which is a direct fit to some popular compact camera...

Re: What accessory do I need to par focal microscope camera in trinocular tube of stereo microscope ?
Thanks for all the informative responses to this topic. After quite a bit of browsing, and a few phone calls to various microscope vendors, this is what I discovered: - The focusing adapter is "SZM CTV 1/2" and will work with a camera sensor of 1/2.5, and also with 1/2.3 (but 1/2.5 is recommended)....

… The camera has a 1/2.5 sensor. (This one: https://a.co/d/cbE0qu4 ) Is that a small sensor? . This might help you put that into perspective, Jackie https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_sensor_format#/media/File:SensorSizes.svg The history of sensor-sizing is rather ‘weird & wonderful’ ! MichaelG.

Re: Progress Log: Restoring a CHBS Olympus Phase Contrast Microscope
I noticed that the phase turret "switching" to different annuli rings was a little rough, or so to say. I saw a video by Carl H which was extremely helpful in understanding the mechanism for the phase turret. I have a different model but it functions very similarly: https://youtu.be/QSjlgNyfwJw?si=...
