I have a pair of 182 15x eyepiecesin New condition. Can't remember which product line they originated in, but keep in mind the eyepieces for the Series 10 were uncompensated and the usual max FD was 18mm. These would probably work with out any problem. If interested make a reasonable offer.

I have never tried to take one apart, but I think Apochronaut did a nice job of explaining what should be done. Typically fittings were all imperial sizes and I am not aware of any special tools that are required.

thanks to all that replied. I am happy to report that your suggestions helped and the slideways are now free and fresh lube has been added for will controlled movement with ease. I think the key element from the suggestions was applying heat to the slideways.

When you receive the 100x objecive, be sure to inspect the front element and surrounding mounting area.
