A small correction to the in line image size. Currently as configured, the new forum has a maximum image size of 1000 pixels in both dimensions.

Test in line image size
Image size 1024 x 683. Mica, Bertrand lens interference pattern. Stage rotated 45°, 40x obj.
First attempt at 1024 x 863 was unsuccessful.
Resample image to 1000 x 667
Success.
In line images are restricted to 1000 pixels or less in both dimensions.
Image removed to conserve space.

The reference to "No posts during 16-18 hrs" was to the "old" forum.
You could log in, create a post or reply, but the post was placed in the bit bucket, not the forum.
This no post issue had been mentioned by other users.
Your current forum software does not have that issue.
