Objective Lens Cases

Does anybody know about special microscope objective cases that can store fat-barreled objectives? My Olympus SPlan Apos have that knurled ring that makes them impossible to be stored with regular microscope objective cases. I would like to know other people's suggestions. Thank you in advance.

Stew, I am interested to know if you have spare BHS phase components or are willing to sell individual pieces, specifically objectives?

Re: "Improved" version of Olympus BH2 swing-out filter holder BH2-FH

Do you have experience testing these filter holders on the bottoms of the BH2 NIC/Phase Contrast condenser? As I'm interested if these swing out holders work on all BH2 condensers or just the Abbe. Looking forward with further updates.

Does anybody know any alternatives for replacing the 12V/100W of the BHS Microscope. Would any third party bulb work as long as it fits the two pins of the bulb holder?

In extension to this thread, as I don't have want to make more threads. I have gotten a S Plan 20 Apo alongside with my 40x. Upon looking through the back of the objective, everything seems fine. However with usage under the microscope there are some problems. Primarily when looking through a calibr...

Re: Repairing an Olympus 40x Apochromat

It seems that the front lens was crashed causing the lens to have become crooked. When I look through the rear focal plane of the objective, the usual circular image of the lens is instead an elliptical. Another observation is that the rear lens washer was easily removed by my hand indicating prior ...

Repairing an Olympus 40x Apochromat

Re: Dovetail Condenser Adapter for Olympus BH2

The main thing that I am trying to look for is a dovetail mount that when attached can turn a circular mounted condenser into a compatible dovetail. The particular example I am looking for is seen in gekko's post where he modifies a condenser to fit into the mount.

Dovetail Condenser Adapter for Olympus BH2

I have just recently acquired an Olympus BHT-BH2 Microscope but the lack of a filter holder has really irked me. Making a styrofoam base that elevates filters is still not satisfactory in my eyes. Hello, I was wondering the potential resale value of a used Olympus BH2-BHT Trinocular Microscope with 5 objectives, 2 being an SPlan 40x 0.70 and SPlan 100x 1.25. The condenser is a fliptop 0.16-0.90NA condenser.
