Re: Comparison of TWX-1 Folded Optics Microscopes from Different Production Years
The first thing I noticed was the fixing method of the body panels. The body number starts with 1970 and is fixed with bolts (red arrows) instead of riveting. Pay attention to the thread (green arrow). 11.jpg What's even more surprising is the "screw hole sealing process", “ a surprising composite o...

OLYMPUS DIFFERENTIAL INTERFERENCE CONTRAST ATTACHMENT For TRANSMITTED LIGHT KIT
Compatible with original BH and Vanox AH microscopes. This will not fit BH2 or Vanox AH2/AH3. By machining a bottom condenser dovetail groove (not included in the price), it can fit into the BH2 of Olympus while retaining the rotating polarizer. If you are interested in the adapter, I can process it...

Comparison of TWX-1 Folded Optics Microscopes from Different Production Years
Okay, considering that I have been exposed to multiple TWX-1 microscopes in the past year. (From 1970 to 1984). I plan to compare the TWX-1 produced in different years (from structure to process) here. I don't have much exposure to antique microscopes. To satisfy my curiosity, I will ask questions. ...

With all due respect, the first thing to focus on is whether there is room for maneuver in the NFK focal length.

As far as I know, the ideal dark field effect should be to maintain a suitable distance between the stopper and the grating. That is, the position of the prism and PC ring.

The three most common delay plates generate optical path length differences across the entire wavelength range (between 530 and 570 nanometers), half wavelength (260-280 nanometers), or quarter wavelength (137-150 nanometers).

This app hasn't been updated for many years, to be honest, I quickly deleted it.
It can quickly deplete the camera battery
If you want to use stacking, it is recommended to use a shutter line.
Actually, I prefer to use the 4K video function, which can maintain photo accuracy every frame.
