I remember that time you had so many Rotifers they were pressed side to side
and you could've walked across their backs to get to the other side of the slide!

Well you are being creative !
In the beginning of winter not many microbes in my sample waters, then less and less as winter goes on.
I do have a Stereoscope microscope I was looking a little at plant stuff but kinda doing other hobbies right now.

fdupre, I would guess the protruding "hairs" are Trichomes. I do not know too much about plants but when I viewed Cannabis buds I saw Trichomes and then learned most plants have them. I looked at some kind of small clover like plant (weed they would say) from my lawn and it had the "hairs." https://...

I'd spin around too with all those tiny critters maybe bacteria.
Then some close ups of a Rotifer.
Interesting footage but disturbed me in spots. (Too many bacteria will do that)
I think you are soon to get more microbes with all those little guys to eat.

I personally have yet to be impressed by any videos I have seen where they say they used oil.
Sure looks okay, not saying it doesn't...
But nothing so far persuades me- Oh I have to go that route.
