In differential interference contrast (DIC) you can change the background color by moving the upper DIC prism

Image nr3 its a cross section hand-cut,immersed in KOH.
Image nr 7 shows the ascus (sexual spore-bearing cell produced). Nr 8,9 are spores or ascospores.

I'm wonder how it looks in polarized light with retarder (CD).I have to try.

I use this bracket all the time.It is a very good mounting for compact cameras.Useful for stacking photos.
