Thanks for all the positive feedback :) @ zzffnn: All photos were shot using Canon 600D with 100mm Canon macro lens except gecko, I used 70-200 Zoom lens - hand held, no flash. Hi Pat, here is a nice video explaining the process of focus stacking - although it is more related to Macro photography I think the basics will still aply.

Thanks for the feedback. The color of the pollen is the same as the petals of the flower, which I thought was interesting. @rabitt - I used 14 images @vaselle - thanks for the feedback, I was looking at your images and they are absolutely spectacular - hope to pick your brain... a lot :) - (FYI - ha...

I use a Canon DSLR, take the images in RAW format, do the initial processing in Coral After Shot Pro, and the final processing in Photoshop. If I do any stacking (I should say when I do stacking since it is almost all the time) I use Combine ZP which is free and which I am most familiar with. Hi Ji...

First focus stack attempt
This was my first attempt to focus stack. I used the software that came with my Omax camera to stack the image and then sharpened it a little in Photoshop. I'm not happy with the Omax camera quality and have ordered an attachment for my Canon 600D - hoping that will give me way better image quality....

I recently bought an Omax microscope and am very excited about my new hobby
After dabbling in Macro photography for a while, I am keen to explore Photomicrography.
