That looks like you bought it? Any pointers on its supply. Maybe its "name" might help here as I'm UK based and might not be able to get from a US supplier, although looking at US site might be enough for me to try to work from details and try to search for UK/EU supplier.

Really lovely. You've caught its colours against the darkfield really well, orange and red. Nice.
How did you pin the cyclops? I used methylcellulose to immobise but don't know any other techniques for shooting live critters.

Another good way in for some interesting images and slides that are fairly permenant is to get a linear polariser lens (the ones for cameras work fine as long as they a linear polarisers). The inside of1 the slide, near the edge of the cover slip was dominated by needles of citric acid whilst the citric acid crystals in the more saffarin concentrated outside ...
