Recently I found two filamentous desmids. Not very exciting but I wanted to show it anyway.
One is surrounded by a mucouslayer.

This time I found a Lepocinclis cyclidiopsis, a colorless Euglenoid feeding hetertrooph, it was slowly moving. Therefore the video was at a higher magnification than last time.

I don't think he likes it very much under a cover glass. First the shape changes and then he seems to turn inside out.

it must have taken some time for the network to be built up.
You wonder how the movements are controlled.

Again, very very nice.
I like these sharp, colorful details of the different insects.

I just found another species of Stentor, it was new for me.

In a freshwater sample I found this green ciliate.
No idea what kind it is, size is 30x20 μm.

Can anyone help with the ID ?

Very nice images, I like the outstanding optics.

Here's a short video of a rotifer that usually moves a lot.
This specimen had attached itself to the cover slip with its foot and sat quietly. That's why I was able to make this video.

Again a very beautiful and informative video.
