Yes, thanks for sharing that RAF vendor offering the LOMO apo 70X,1.23 WI dark field and phase objective and the $145 USD sounds terrific price to me. Thanks, Fan. My 2010 Chicago seller gave the entire print out of this objectives specs..and Vlad listed in the specs: 'dark field and phase contrast'...

Re: Bausch & Lomb modified for Water Immersion/Oblique

Sweet combo of LOMO/WI objectives, einman! Will you put much worry into the actual water you use for the water immersion bridge? I finally made my LOMO 70X 1.23 DF and Phase work with DF stop on my Nikon Labophot! It took a combo of a Leitz Wetzlar Germany Plezy+ a Leitz Wetzlar Germany adaptor which...

So would skyfog benefit from his visual observations of a collection of objectives to 'see' which perform better? Re: Are white color colared LOMO WI objectives different from 'dippers'?

I may be a little off on this but I'm pretty sure the Lomo contacting objective, is designed for a special application of epi illumination. The fact that the listing also implies that the objective works with transmitted light, I suspect is a translation problem. I think he means , transmitted thro...

Hi Charlie, I persisted, and I finally found the image (I took it in November, 2012!) Re: White Blood Cell Photography

As good as your image captures are (they are terrific to my eyes)..usually visual observations of these cells depicts how tak sharp your objective is, skyfog. How sharp are the images, the granules within the WBC's to your eyes? As you enjoy the colors...how do the color varieties look to your eyes?...

Thanks for your experiences and reply, Fan. Yes, I too have a 70X LOMO apo,1.23 with no correction collar. Re: 60+ X dry. of what use are they?

Hi Bill, We have 2 Microscopes the one we most often use is the 1964 Olympus GB. The ocular tube Can be adjusted from 145mm to 200mm so we can use just about any objective except for infinity. The ocular tube can easily be slid out and removed to fit a 4, or 10 power objective on the end and used as...
